Educare Junior School (“the School”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects the privacy of users of the Educare Junior School mobile application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, collected, used, stored and shared when you use the App.
The App provides school news, notices and updates. It may also include chat, photo-related features and push notifications.
Please note: This policy must be reviewed against the App’s actual functionality and the services it uses before publication.
Depending on the features you use and the services integrated into the App, the following information may be processed:

We will update this policy if the App’s functionality or data practices change.
We do not intend to sell personal information for money. However, information may be processed by service providers where necessary to operate the App, such as hosting, analytics or push-notification providers, if these services are integrated.
The specific providers, information shared with each provider, and their purposes must be verified before this policy is published.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or where necessary to protect the rights, safety and security of the School, its users or others.
The App relates to a school and may be used by children, parents, guardians and school staff.
We recognise the importance of protecting children’s privacy. We will seek to limit information collection to what is necessary for the App’s intended functions and will not knowingly use children’s information for purposes inconsistent with this policy.
Any analytics, messaging, photo-upload or other third-party services used by the App must be reviewed for suitability for an app used by children. Applicable parental-consent and child-privacy requirements must be followed where relevant.
The App may request operating-system permissions where a feature requires them. Any permission actually requested by the App should be explained in context.

This section must be updated if the App requests access to the camera, photos, files, location or other protected device features.
Information may be stored on the School’s systems or by service providers used to operate the App.
We will take reasonable measures appropriate to the information processed to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The actual hosting arrangements, security controls and any third-party storage must be verified before this policy is finalised.
Information should be retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal, school-record and operational requirements.
The retention periods and deletion procedures for messages, photos, analytics records, notification tokens and server logs must be confirmed with the School and the relevant service providers.

The App may display content or use services operated by third parties. Those services may process information under their own privacy policies.
Before publication, the School should identify the actual analytics, notification, hosting, media and other third-party services included in the App and provide additional information or links where appropriate.
You can choose whether to use optional App features and, where supported, manage notification permissions through your device settings.
